For use with on the AKM variant of the 7.62mm, Kalahnikov AK-47 assault rifle.

Grips:

Red-Brown (Two-Piece Construction), Type 1 style with the bulbus grip,

 

Wrist strap: Natural Colored Leather has the standard three opening metal buckle used to attach to the hook on the crosspiece, the buckle is matte-silver, at the other end it is held there by a small, rectangular matte-silver buckle.

 

Hanger: leather, has a D-ring that attaches to the clip at the top of the hanger and one opening at the top of the scabbard,(mine is missing the upper part of the hanger), hanger stud is metal,

 

Catch: brown colored, and it works,

 

Blade has a slot that is used with the scabbard to cut wire,

 

Made from 1963 to 1970. One of the cool differences in this bayonet compared to a Russian one is that Hungary has a Yellow rubber isolator and Russia has black one.

This is a Winchester Model 1892 clone done by Rossi. They are a lot cheaper in price compared to the real Win M92 rifle. Mine works very well with no issues at all.

Yom Kipper War Israeli capture of Syrian WZ50 Helmet

Duration of use:

From about the 50’s till present day, there isn’t a lot of information about these helmets, the Syrians opted to use the Polish WZ50 Helmet, It was used by them before the 6 day war in 1967, the Polish WZ50 Helmet was one of the more numerous helmets to be exported from Poland,

 

Markings:

Helmet maker stamp on the crown of the helmet, KZWM 1953, then a mark made by the Israeli Soldier that captured it, there is a QA mark on the liner, it is on the other side of the leather liner tongue, no Syrian trench art on the helmet.

In good condition, no rust,

Yugoslavian M1948 98k Mauser Rifle 

 

The last Mauser rifle produced by Yugoslavia at the Kraqujevac arsenal is the Mod 48 Rifle, quite similar to the German 98k Carbine. The rifle is fitted with a pistol grip stock, with a typical German style short upper hand guard extending from the front of the rear sight to the lower barrel band. The lower barrel band has a side bar sling slot, with a slot through the buttstock for attachment of the sling. The front sight has a German style front sight cover, while the nose cap has an “H” style bayonet lug. The bolt handle is bent, with the stock cut for easier operation of the bolt.
